The Bernardsville Republican Municipal Committee is composed of two elected representatives from each of the seven voting districts in the Borough.


Karen Gardner, Chairman

Karen, a 43 year resident of District 6 in Bernardsville, is the Chairman the Bernardsville Republican Municipal Committee. She serves on the Bernardsville Planning Board and served on the Open Space and Recreation Advisory Committee. She was also the Republican Candidate for Borough Council in 2017. Karen is a hard-working entrepreneur as founder of The Gardner Group, an international convention, event planning, and consulting company. She was also a teacher in the Chester and Washington Township school district and graduated with honors from Kutztown University with a B.S. in Art Education. Contact:

Bob Gardner, Vice-Chairman & Treasurer

Bob, a 43 year resident of Bernardsville, is Vice-Chairman and Treasurer of the BRMC. Bob has extensive experience in corporate management, technology, and finance with General Electric, Honeywell, and Prime Computer. He is an entrepreneur and founder of numerous technology companies, including The Bedminster Group, a management and finance consulting firm, and Entersoft Systems Corp, a leader in transaction systems. He has both an MBA and a B.S. from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and is a veteran of the US Army reserve and National Guard.

Diane Greenfield, Secretary

Diane graduated from Fairleigh Dickenson University in Madison, NJ with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She has a background in management, marketing and administration. Diane and her husband Bob have been Bernardsville residents for 27 years. They have 2 grown sons who attended Somerset Hills Schools, where Diane volunteered in various capacitates for numerous fundraising and student activity committees. Diane is a former member of the Bernardsville Borough Council.


Ross Zazzarino, Social Media CoordinatorRoss Zazzarino grew up in Bernardsville and created the Bernards High School Republicans in 2017. He has been part of several New Jersey political campaigns and is currently studying political science and economics at The George Washington University. Contact:

District 1

Skip Orza II

Skip Orza, a 24 year resident of Bernardsville, is the Representative of District 1,  past-Chairman of the BRMC, and a member of the Somerset County Republican Committee. He has had many leadership roles serving the community, including serving as a member of the Bernardsville Library Board of Trustees, served as a member of the Open Space and Recreation Committee, and on the Board of Directors of the Somerset Hills YMCA. He also has coached Somerset Hills Little League and was a Youth Basketball coach for Bernardsville recreation. Skips had a 40 year career in the insurance and liability business with companies such as State Auto Financial Corp, RLI Insurance Company and Chubb Corp. He has a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia. He and his wife, Holly, have two sons in college.

John Donahue has resided in Bernardsville since 2008 and has been serving on the Borough Council since 2018.  He has two teenagers in our public schools and is an avid cyclist.

Dot Paluck

Dot Paluck has been an active member of the Bernardsville community for over 40 years. She served on the Borough Council from 1994 to 1999, where held a number of leadership roles including as Council President as well as on the Public Works Committee and the Personnel Committee. She also has been actively involved in other committees and boards, including the Borough Planning Board, Library Board, the Office of Emergency Management and the Somerset County Parks Commission. An avid golfer, Dot has been a member of numerous NJ golf clubs and has served in leadership roles for the Women’s Metropolitan Golf Association, the Garden State Women’s Golf Association, the NJSGA and the USGA. Dot has an M.A. in Education from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a B.A. in History, English and Education from Michigan State University. She and her husband Thomas have a son and two grandchildren.


Greg deGrandpre

Greg has lived in Bernardsville for over 35 years.  He holds a bachelor of arts degree in education from Montclair State University as well as two master’s degrees. He has been teaching for 44 years and is currently employed by Morristown High School. Greg is a former member of the Somerset Hills Regional Board of Education.

Diane Greenfield

Patrick Bosworth

Patrick has lived in Bernardsville for 16 years with his wife Julie and three children. He is a volunteer youth basketball, baseball, and flag football coach. He recentl was appointed to the downtown revitalization committee and was instrumental in helping to get the new Bernardsville basketball courts built. Patrick is currently CFO of MedXCom after having a successful seventeen year career in emerging market currency derivatives at ICAP PLC and BGC Partners, two of the largest institutional brokerage companies in the world. He was a guard on the Boston College 1997 Big East Champion men’s basketball team and is a supporter of the Angelman Syndrome Foundation.

Chad and his family have lived in Bernardsville since 2013. He and his wife Angela have 2 children in the Bernardsville public school system. Chad is active in local government and is a member of the Borough Council, a former member of the Bernardsville Housing and Zoning Committee and represents District 7 on the Bernardsville Republican Municipal Committee. Chad graduated from Northwestern University with a Doctorate degree in Pharmacy and has over 10 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry designing and analyzing clinical research, and leading medical teams within the industry. Chad’s company, TotalCHE and creates and distributes continuing medical education videos for physicians, pharmacists and nurses. He is a volunteer for the Somerset Hills Little League and coaches youth baseball and softball.
