Bernardsville Republican Municipal Committee Sets Candidate Screening Meeting Date
Bernardsville, NJ; February 21, 2019–The Bernardsville Republican Municipal
Committee (BRMC) recently met to approve their 2019 schedule.
Their next regularly scheduled meeting is March 26, 2019 at 7:00 PM in the BHS
Community Room. At that meeting the Committee will be screening candidates for two
Borough Council seats that are up for election this November. We expect that the BRMC
will endorse Republican candidates for each of these positions.
The names of these endorsed candidates will be forwarded to the Chairman of the
Somerset County Republican Organization for inclusion on their line in the upcoming June
Primary.
“We are looking for individuals who will diligently work in order to keep our municipal tax
burden as low as feasibly possible while delivering greater services to the residents.”
BRMC Vice Chairman, Karen Gardner announced to her fellow committeemen. “We continue
to reach out to those willing to volunteer and want to be responsive to the needs of all the
residents of Bernardsville. We continue to evaluate qualified residents who come forward
and are interested in serving our community. We all have an enormous stake in the
process.”
The Bernardsville Republican Municipal Committee is comprised of male and female elected
representatives from each of Bernardsville’s seven election districts. These
Committeemen and Committeewomen promote the political philosophy of the Republican
Party, assist in the election of qualified Republican candidates for public office, and
provide for an active Republican voice in local, county and federal governments.
